I continue to be the bad blogger. I blame this on tons of travel since June. I've tried to keep up, and continue to resolve to be better. I don't always have something to say, at least not that any of you following will be interested in. I love the recent cell phone commercial (carrier?) where they poke fun at the abuse of all of instant social networking resources. If you haven't seen it, the Dad discovers Twitter and continually posts no matter that he has nothing of import to say. In the commercial, he verbalizes as he texts to his family from his phone, "I am on the porch." His son and daughter in the background roll their eyes while the son says, "We know you're on the porch!"
As wonderful as the social networking programs like my blog here, Twitter and Facebook are, I try to only post when I have something to say or news to share. I so appreciate those of you who are following me and will try not to disappoint by being too sporadic in my postings. My goal is to catch up here later today with a new gallery of recent pix while traveling these past few months, updated event/class info with links, and more.
On the horizon: I have new texture stamps coming out in my line early next year, as well as new foils, and more. Keep an eye out any day for the Art Across the Oceans website with next year's creative cruises going live!
Also, next European adventure takes up to 12 students to the Island of Santorini Greece in October 2010, for Clay Convergence. This weeklong intensive is a mixed media journey with metal and polymer clays. Please click on this link: for details: Toscana Americana.
The photo above is a sampling of what students will learn to create during these classes. Hope you can join me!
I just need to say I love your videos on Fiskars Craft. I'm getting into polymer clay art now and your tutorials are so awesome. Thank you so much for having a website that you do. I've bookmarked it and this blog. I'm like a sponge at the moment and I love polymer clay!
