My friend Haley came to help me with a photo shoot for some articles I was working on and our Weimaraner puppy, Dexter couldn't wait to see what I was up to. He surprised us both by sneaking around from the side and jumping up just as Haley (ever the resourceful journalist and all around Renaissance woman) was snapping a picture. She continued to snap away capturing a few fun shots of Dexter being his usual precocious self.
We rescued him a few months ago and he made himself right at home the minute he walked into the door. He's was born on the 4th of July and is nothing but mischief, but being so cute and adorable is what's keeping him alive. All kidding aside, he's become a part of our family so quickly, we don't know what we ever did without him. He's and our beloved Tupper, have learned to be friends. Tuppy, having short legs has to enjoy the nice cool studio floor. Dexter is still growing which means nothing and I mean nothing is safe, even against the backsplash of our kitchen counters. Oh and did I mention he enjoys shredding palm trees? Wait until he discovered water by way of the our pool! Nothing will ever be dry again. All of this just when I thought my husband and I were going to be empty-nesters after Dani graduates in June.
