A year of creating daily artworks on the lids of Carmex lip balm containers. Various materials are used with an emphasis on mixed-media. Creations may feature: polymer clay, metal clays (Fine Silver, bronze and copper), SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, resin, wire, pearls, paper, paint, glass, wood, coins, buttons, hardware, found and recycled objects.
Today is a personal milestone in my 365 Days of Lip Service project. One of the pieces I conceived of creating was a working kaleidoscope. What a wonderful feeling to reach this goal. Millefiori clay elements cover the entire piece from the lid up.

Thanks LaLa, but not there yet! There are still over three more months to create. Today's was a milestone in the type of construction I created with the kaleidoscope. I'm glad you are enjoying the blog. More surprises coming!
Congratulations! This is great, Lisa! It must feel awesome to have completed your 365th Carmex container and to top it off it's a working Kaleidoscope! Very cool! I have enjoyed following you along this journey.
