Still in Tucson where I'll be demonstrating in the Tierracast booth at the To Bead True Blue Show at the Double Tree hotel. I created the collage on the lid using a Tierracast frame finding with image transfers, molded Steampunk gears, vintage watch parts, and found objects layered in UV resin. This was set into textured clay with a striped border. If you're in the area, stop by to see me create these type of collages from noon-1:00pm. After that, my work is done here except to shop the shows with some gal pals. I'm thrilled that my my friend Petra is in from the Czech Republic. She is the organizer of an amazing event in Prague, called Fimohrani. I'll be going back to teach this coming autumn with my amazingly talented friend, Christi Friesen, and the equally talented artist, Carol Simmons. Petra is such an amazing marketer, the event was nearly sold out in one day!
